I will be blunt here...your relationship is doomed for failure if your H remains in contact with this woman. You are making friends with the woman that had an affair with your H.
YOur M is in trouble and you are being very naive about the dangers and cancer that are growing right under your nose.

Whatever you think are your reasons, I know I am right about the smell of a baby up until about 18 months. With some, not all women and a few, maybe more men than I know, the smell, cry, gurgle of a baby goes straight to the animal brain. Those who are so afflicted understand, those who don't, never will. what happens when the woman decides she wants a sibling for her child....guess your H is going to be a sperm donor again??? As Noodle asked...are you prepared for an open marriage??? Because that is the road you are heading down.

I can't think of you as his mother that's because you are not the baby's mother. Don't you realize that your hurt over hearing the truth shows that you are just not facing reality here? Your H had a baby with another woman. You are not the child's mother in any way. What was he throwing in your face by making that statement??? Facts???
