I was supposed to do this yesterday. Xs atty was pushing, pushing pushing. But the move took all day, from 7:30 until past 6:30. And this is L.A., heat wave country.

So, this morning, after sleeping on shampooed and uncombed hair (guess which supplies I forgot to pack!) I went to my attornys's office, signed the papers.

Now I'm back at the house, accessing the puter (which I'm leaving for awhile until x moves back with his own, newer, shinier one) and checking my email.

This isn't what I wanted. Nor was it what HE wanted. I wanted a marriage. He wanted the life of a bachelor, no accountability.

Even though the new apt. is bright and sunny, it is going to take work to get it unpacked and also to get my attitude positive.

Son is coming over after work today to use my pool. That is the one very bright spot to look forward to.

Sad to hear things have gone that far!

There is hope though, hang in there! Glad for you to start over on a new leaf, but the positive attitute will come...do not despair!

Just another character looking for better ways to stay married, if that is at all possible in the face of such controversy!
