Anyone else agree with this?
I was reading some of the posts by these "people" in my thread and others. The language is strikingly similar and the advise is equally bad...i.e. "move on".

Whose more destructive....the trolls or the people who feed the trolls? Identification is very cool (thanks for the heads up Sara)....IF and only if it encourages people to stop enabling the trolls! People who feed the trolls are troll enablers. Who cares if trolls get chased off the board....I sure don't....but I do care that JL left and he was NO TROLL.

People who sit by silently EMBOLDEN the trolls, actually. THEY are the enablers. Trolls need the cover of darkness in order to operate. When they are exposed as trolls, newbies don't listen to their cockamamie advice and are alert to their presence. If you have concerns about any member being a "troll" on our forums, please email me. Tell me who, give me some links if you can, and I'll check it out.
If your concerns are valid, I'll either email that member or automatically ban them, if needed.
But in the meanwhile, please, either ignore those posts or give them the benefit of the doubt.

I think JL was valuable here...now, can everybody stop whining over his decision. He decided to leave..get over it. Attempting to get trolls off the board is admirable in my opinion. If you don't agree with someones approach, take it up with the mods.

Identification is very cool (thanks for the heads up Sara).... Actually Princess Meggy noticed the BA1/G10 connection first...I just looked at sunshine123's posts (to a couple of newer newbies than me) and saw the language "errors" were similar to those made by BA1/G10 on my threads. So PM really should get a lot of the credit.

I'm not sure if you meant to contradict yourself.
In context, I get your point...trolls can be and are often enabled. I think it is extremely important though, to identify them and expose trolls whenever possible.
