Minnesota...Jah, Hey...
Fortunately they also have some good fishing in Minnesota.
I spent 3 weeks working near Red Wing Minnesota back in the 80s. It was a heavily Scandinavian area, as in Swedish. Everybody we past on the street was 6'2" with blond hair and blue eyes...The men were a little taller...
I guess curling is the sport where they have a lot of ice and rocks, huh?

You'd have to get Minnesota too, they have allot of curlers there too. LOL Yeah but we could entice them to go to Canada for a tournament of foreign foolishness I'm sure! Mrs. W

Are you kidding, they are the first ones to sign up. One thing I didn’t tell you about curling.... the whole chucking rock down the ice is an excuse to drink beer afterwards.

the whole chucking rock down the ice is an excuse to drink beer afterwards. Sort of like softball is here... Or stock car racing... Or bowling... Or golf... Mark

I was going to use the softball reference. Curling is what golfers and softball players do in the winter. LOL

TMTS,
I suppose you have curling versions of what we used to call "leaners" around the stock car tracks. These were guys that would come over, lean against your car, give you advice you didn't ask for and drink your beer when the races were over.
In softball, they're called coaches...

I was going to use the softball reference. Curling is what golfers and softball players do in the winter. Not around here. We don't have that many rocks that haven't already been used for something else...like prisons... I'll check in with you later. I gotta go home! Mark

Alright, Operation Lowes is on, step 1. I think I caught her by surprise. She said that she was going to go visit a "friend" probably the only friend she has. Separated W who wasn't happy because they were rich and they would fight about money. I do not like this person... I think she is advising and/or encouraging my WW to leave. Anyhow, we will bring it up as soon as we both get home tomorrow and go ASAP and spend longer than expected. I really don't like this woman. She asked me why Lowes, and I told her that we haven't been there yet and I wanted her to let me know what she liked.
She was trying to wiggle out of it but could not because I asked then shut up. Started looking at the new sears catalog. She came back in from the kitchen and asked how long it would take to go to Lowes. Told her it was about 20 mins... but I think I might get lost on the way, seeing that we've never been there. I know it's bad but anything to keep her away form that woman. (Did I mention I didn't like her...university professor who thinks she's better than everybody.) I think I more threatened by that relationship than the A because she will convince her that she should be on her own until she meets someone else.
What scares me is that my WW is not the leader type and may latch on to this woman's lead, instead of looking towards me to meet her needs.
That something else I realized about myself in all of this. I will not be happy alone, I need someone to care for, and if it's not her it WILL be someone else, and after going through this the new woman I fall in love with will be cherished more than she new possible. That's a vow I make to myself. Now should my WW come out of the fog before that time I will be even happier.

Should I be graced with g-d's will to have my WW one day come to this board and meet you all, you can remind me of this vow. if not I would bring my new love to see what I have been through, air out the baggage and encourage her to follow the MB principles with me. I would hope that you 2x4 this into me so that I don't repeat the mistakes of the past.

That is a nice thought. I only remember 2 men who brought their new love here. Usually they just ride off into the sunset.

Should I be graced with g-d's will Are you Jewish TMTS? Just curious...I never knew the deal about Jewish people not being allowed to type or write out the name of God anywhere it could be discarded until MB...I grew up in a very "WASPish" community where we all pretty much went to the same Baptist church...Wanna hear something funny? I didn't even know my first Catholic until my Jr. year of high school-she was a "yankee" of course! I didn't know anyone Jewish until college...Bizarre, huh? I did go out with a Canadian Jewish guy once when I was single...Nice guy, terrible dresser-lol... Mrs. W

Yes, our MB men do quite well if their marriage doesn't work out.
I think all this is so hurtful that when they find someone else, they just don't come back.
There may have been more than 2, but that is all I remember.
One was suicidal after D-day. He thought he had a happy marriage, his wife left with OM and he was completely broken.
After the divorce, he met a new woman who was younger, prettier, and richer than his wife. They both posted here for a long time. Hopefully they are still using the MB plan. I think their picture is in the MB album - on their new boat.

As you get more familiar with the MB stuff, you will find yourself using it with your kids, your friends, workmates, everyone. It is amazing how great it works.

Naw, just out of respect for Queenie. I'm as bad as they come... French Canadian Catholic boy from the boonies. Three of my F's aunts were Catholic Nun School Teachers. Queenie, if it’s disrespectful for me to do this, please let me know. I have really not practices my faith since I was a teen. I actually was an alter boy when I was 8 to 10 in the Montréal region.

I thought you would want to do this on your own now that... you know. I used my number one reverse babble technique... I shut up picked up a piece of laundry and folded it. #@#@$#@%#@ @#$ #@@#%.
There, I feel better now.
