I think it's pretty funny and very good at showing how sleazy affairs really are. It's good to have a show that spotlights the reality of adultery instead of glorifying it.
I do, however, occasionally get a bit of a kick in the gut when watching what the betrayed person goes through on it. It's easy to empathize with them.

I saw "my favorite" episode over a year ago I commented about on here.
In this case the WW was in the back of OM's car wearing only underwear when the camera crew and BH arrived.
The BH and crew, blocks the OM's car with the Cheaters van. The busy couple are still unaware, the BH opens the drivers door while WW and OM are busy in the back seat. BH takes the car keys and throws them into the dark, and proceeds to ask his WW "whats going on"?
Now this part is classic: She responds: He's just a friend, and we were "talking". They are still in undies!
BH responds: With no clothes on?
At this point OM runs from the car in his boxers. His only hiding spot is a Port O Potty!
While WW is getting her shirt back on, BH turns his attention to OM...
Best Part: OM will not come out of his Port O Potty hiding spot, so BH tips the potty over, it goes xrashing to the ground, spilling it's nasty content all over OM! Too bad he didn't send it to the ground door first, but this would not have allowed us viewers to see OM get out covered in....
After the poo settles, the show's spokesman is trying to question the OM, but first asks the security guy to make sure to stay between them so he will not get any of that stuff on him.
The couple remain together, b/c the BH believes it's his fault for not showing his WW the attention she deserved. The WW comments that "all women should cheat when they are not getting the attention they deserve in a relationship.
Cheaters disclaims: We do not agree with that believe, the couple should have seeked counsel.
I had tears in my eye's laughing at 1:00am.
It's should have been a one hour show. I wanted to watch the stinkboy search for his keys in the dark public park.

I have had a few pleasant “mini-vacations” imagining rolling into a parking lot in the Cheaters Van, halogen spotlights igniting the darkness while Wayzilla and Gollum were in my old company truck testing the suspension.
Talk about what a grand exposure that would be.
Testosterone boys! Testosterone! It aint just for nose, ear and back hair anymore!

from J K trying: The couple remain together, b/c the BH believes it's his fault for not showing his WW the attention she deserved. The WW comments that "all women should cheat when they are not getting the attention they deserve in a relationship. Man oh man, why does that attitude sound sooo disturbingly familiar??? ********* However, I will say that it would have been a classic to see my W's CLB covered in #1 & #2. How fitting is that??

JKT- That is my fav episode, too!
OK, I am the WS, so dig at me for my opinion here if you must, but...
The only thing I hate about this show is the Jerry Springer aspect. I hate the fact that people get physically hurt (including the host getting stabbed on one episode!) and the revenge-type exposure. I think exposure is crucial, but in the context of close friends or family who can work with you to help heal and to help the WS "get it." Also, the children who may be involved could see much more than they should ever be exposed to, which may hurt them even more than they already (possibly) have been. Does this make sense?
Think about the teenager already dealing with a very difficult home experience (where they should always feel safe) and then going to school and having to deal with other kids who saw the epsiode. "Hey, saw your dad/mom on the show "Cheaters" last night, etc" then uses it to torture the already emotionally distressed teen.
Just a thought...

JKT,
Your post was hilarious. I'm sitting at work trying not to laugh, but everyone is looking at me wondering what's so funny. Good recap of the show!!
Someone just told me about a show called Big Love on HBO. Described as a guy with 3 wives, 3 households etc. A religious thing I guess, but sounds like just another excuse to commit adultry to me. Has anyone seen that show??

Yes, I've seen Big Love.. It about a Poligimist famility (Husband and his 3 wives). They live in mainstream USA, hiding their secret.
I didn't find it offensive. It's a TV show. I just didn't find it worth watching.
Keep in mind.. I liked "The Sopranos"

I tried watching Big Love for a while. I like Bill Paxton and Harry Dean Stanton. It was okay I guess. I just kinda lost interest in it. But: Keep in mind.. I liked "The Sopranos" You and me both!! Many times I wished I was Tony so I could take care of the infidels!! (but without the ho'ing around Tony loved to do so much!) I did cuss like him a bunch, though. When I was not around anyone else!! Tony: "WHAT THE F---!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" ect.
