Hey 2long. I've had three great trips to Oz myself and know you're in for a wonderful vacation. Just so you know, they do have computers there and you can log onto MB, just in case the kangaroos and Koalas don't do it for you! I fully expect you to pop in from time to time. Safe journey.TT
Well, I borrowed the "on my way 2 Australia" from the movie "Support Your Local Sheriff". I shamefully and sadly must admit that I'm not really booked for travel 2 Oz.
But I had hopes 20 years ago 2 do my PhD on Lake Eyre. Good Mars analog.

A little more "context" for my buddies that might be slower on the ol' uptake than even yours 2ly:
Excerpts from "Support your local sheriff" <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
"[Jason is inquiring about the job of sheriff]
Jason McCullough: Well, gentlemen, I think it's only fair to tell you that I'd only be interested in this job on a temporary basis.
Henry Jackson: Oh?
Jason McCullough: Well, you see, actually I was on my way to Australia when I heard about your gold strike and I decided to, uh, travel through here and see if I couldn't pick myself up a little stake.
Thomas Devery: What do you want to go to Australia for?
Jason McCullough: Well, it's the last of the frontier country. Thought I might like to do a little pioneering.
Fred Johnson: I thought this was frontier country and we was pioneers.
Since I'm leisurely heading off 2 Australia, maybe I can spend a few in Montana on the way:
"I might be movin' 2 Montana soon Just 2 raise me up a crop of Dental Floss
Raisin' it up Waxen it down In a little white box That I can sell uptown
By myself I wouldn't Have no boss, But I'd be raisin' my lonely Dental Floss
Raisin' my lonely Dental Floss
Well I just might grow me some bees But I'd leave the sweet stuff 2 somebody else . . . but then, on the other hand I would
Keep the wax N' melt it down Pluck some Floss N' swish it aroun'
I'd have me a crop An' it'd be on top (that's why I'm movin' 2 Montana)
Movin' 2 Montana soon Gonna be a Dental Floss tycoon (yes I am) Movin' 2 Montana soon Gonna be a mennil-toss flykune
I'm pluckin' the ol' Dennil Floss That's growin' on the prairie Pluckin' the floss!
I plucked all day an' all nite an' all Afternoon . . .
I'm ridin' a small tiny hoss (His name is MIGHTY LITTLE) He's a good hoss Even though He's a bit dinky 2 strap a big saddle or Blanket on anyway
He's a bit dinky 2 strap a big saddle or Blanket on anyway Any way
I'm pluckin' the ol' Dennil Floss Even if you think it is a little silly, folks I don't care if you think it's silly, folks I don't care if you think it's silly, folks
I'm gonna find me a horse Just about this big, An' ride him all along the border line
With a Pair of heavy-duty Zircon-encrusted tweezers in my hand Every other wrangler would say I was mighty grand
By myself I wouldn't Have no boss, But I'd be raisin' my lonely Dental Floss
Raisin' my lonely Dental Floss Raisin' my lonely Dental Floss
Well I might Ride along the border With my tweezers gleamin' In the moon-lighty night
And then I'd Get a cuppa cawfee N' give my foot a push . . . Just me 'n the pygmy pony Over the Dennil Floss Bush
N' then I might just Jump back on An' ride Like a cowboy In2 the dawn 2 Montana
I do remember one thing. It took hours and hours but.. By the time I was done with 2long
I was so involved I didn't know what to think. I carried 2long around with me for days and days.. Playing little games Like not looking at 2long for a whole day And then.. looking at 2long. To see if I still liked 2long. I did.
I repeat myself when under stress. I repeat myself when under stress. I repeat myself when under stress. I repeat myself when under stress. I repeat.. The more I look at 2long
The more I like 2long. I do think 2long's good. The fact is.. No matter how closely I study 2long
No matter how I take 2long apart
No matter how I break 2long down
2long remains consistant. I wish 2long were here to see it.
Sometimes, perhaps, getting over one's addiction 2 posting on internet 4ums where flame wars tend 2 rage, can be as simple as flipping a switch?

Did any of you ever see that UTube video of "angry conputer kid"? I think that was what is was called. The kid was angry at his computer because it kept failing him during a game he was addicted to. OMG, I'm sorry, but it was the funniest thing I ever saw. It was disturbingly funny.
