Just checking in really quick while waiting for my fellow Goddesses to arrive for a Goddess Night Out tonight. I just finished applying the lipstick,the last touch to the makeup, hair DONE,,,wearing my sweater and jeans that F-I-T very well, and getting ready to put on those high heels and leather jacket!! I won't detail the matching undergarments, only to say that it's a totally Lace kind of night! WHOO HOO!

to really look for beauty. Cindy: You said this in reference to that morning with your DD... This very PRACTICE helped me through my DARKEST DAYS during my H's affair.. I really got into FLOWERS and HOUSEPLANTS...even started a beautiful FLOWER GARDEN in the front of my house..shocked the you know what out of my then WH during his drivebys..cause he used to be the FLOWER PERSON in the family... I'm still into my flowers to this day..LUV, LUV, LUV my African Violets..cause every time there's NEW GROWTH or a NEW BUD on my plants, I SEE and FEEL GOD's PRESENCE, knowing HE LIVES and is with ME...so you and I share this focus on the BEAUTY of LIFE.. It's so interesting how the HORROR of the AFFAIR has resulted in such POSITIVE CHANGES in my life...and I would think YOUR LIVES... I now can pass on one of the sayings of MY GRANDMOTHERS (I ADORED my GRANDMOTHERS'..MY GODDESS INSTRUCTORS <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />).."THE DARKEST HOUR IS JUST BEFORE DAWN"..

Hey Rin, I'm having pizza too. Got the $5.00 ready to go special at Little Caesars. But I DID make a green salad, and put used 2 clear glass plates for a slice of pizza and the salad. Also a nice crystal glass of Merlot to go with it.

And I DO have a comment on makeup (though I never have used it), so take it with a grain of salt.
My son's model girlfriend uses some kind of foundation that is mineral based - like you see on TV. When she first started using it, even I noticed something was different. She looked more STUNNINGLY beautiful than usual. I can always tell when she has it on. So THAT is my recommendation.

never been girly girl type. LOVE to do home improvements and build things for my craft room ;-) WH would always say why didn't you ask me, I would have made it for you. DUH cause I love to do it myself!! At one point I did ask him to build a fire pit... all of us pitched in and did it as a family project. That was during his being home "trying" period.

I keep seeing that commercial and have thought about trying it, but never knew anyone that used it. Maybe that will be my GODDESS purchase for the weekend.....

The make-up is called Bare Essentials. My OD is a skin care professional/make-up artist and has brought it home for me. I never have been one for make-up etc (I blame my twin for my tomboy ways) but the mineral powder was so light, it was hardly noticeable and yet, it made my skin look great, without looking made up. It also has SPF in it.
My OD worked at a store called Sephora. If there's one near you, that's a great place to go to find the right color. I'm light #2.

I do the Mary Kay thing and I'm a dark #4! But I notice that after I get off of work, I want to put it on again...you know if I'm going out that night...
It's been working well for me, I haven't had a problem with breaking out, but then again I've never been one to really have breakouts...
I'm also a warm colors gal...very seldom do I use blue or green eyeshadow...I like the browns, reds, greys, and purples...I'm really in love with the natural look, I guess!

Happy Saturday all of US BEAUTIFUL GODDESSES, Rise and shine, ok some of you one the east coast have already risen and shined. It's another RAINY day in the PNW, but the sky is clear and shiny in my heart. Off to take a nice hot shower, then enhance my ALREADY BEAUTIFUL FEATURES. I have a GODDESS day planned. I am going to go be a lacrosse mom for a little while, and do some stuff at work instead of freeze outside, then be driven up to where I get to MEET and TALK with a bunch of JEWISH WOMEN. I am DRESSING UP and going to SHOCK them for all the weight I have LOST. That will be fun. I wasn't planning on going out to dinner with them, but I JUST MIGHT see if I CAN and go have some FUN and LAUGH. They know my heart, they want to SUPPORT ME and I should LET THEM TAKE CARE OF ME. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I wish you all a good Saturday. Queenie

Slept in....check (needed some xtra BEAUTY rest this morning after a long week)

Dress welll.....ummmm ..no, I have sweats on, BUT they are new ones and it is because kiddies and I are doing some cleaning this morning so I can meet EN Domestic Support...will take shower and dress up later on....
Hair done....check...I do have a ponytail going on, but I tried to make it more "stylish" than normal,
Now if WS drops in on me, I may not be "stunningly beautiful", but this is the most dressed up dressed down version he has seen in years ...

Good afternoon LADIES!!! I'm an East-coaster and have been up since 7am, but it's 12:15 now. I still have my pj's on and I love it! Read my book and finished it, had some coffee....languished in the sheets for a good while, contemplating life. This is the first Saturday my 1 yr old son went with his Dad so I have ME time. Think I'll get my eyebrows waxed then go to some garage sales. I love other peoples junk!! Then I may tackle hammering the wall. I want that doorway put in so there will be a direct cut-through from my family room to the kitchen instead of having to go around. If I mess up, well then I can always pay a handy man to finish the job. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Do I hear any other HAMMERS this weekend? hee hee

Do not let your WH catch you in SWEATS... I personally would like to BAN SWEATS forever...IN PUBLIC.. Although you are CLEANING, you can be PRETTY..
