Well, if you have no fashion sense, watch "What Not to Wear". After a couple of episodes, you'll have it figured out. I HATE shopping to, and do my buying on ebay. But you have to know what looks good on you since you can't try it on. But it comes quickly with no muss or fuss.

Goddesses should also take naps if they can. I intend to today. And my sister said she was sending me chocolate chip cookies because I still don't eat enough. LOL...

LOL Mimi. I LOVE that show. And it helps me in my personal life. I already went through all my clothing and donated the stuff that I knew they wouldn't approve of.

They had a great episode on mixing and matching, and using accessories to look smashing. It is surprising how few clothes you need to look well put together.

I still wear Hello Kitty barrettes and headbands. And I'm 38. I have a Hello Kitty ring & toe ring too. I have butterfly and dragonfly hair ornaments too.

You're only as old as you feel.

I guess Goddesses tell you what they want to be called?

I am partial to either Rella or Cinders....don't ask me why those are the names other folks at MB have given me.

IRL, I am always telling people that I prefer to use my full hyphenated first name. I suppose, should I ever marry again, I couldn't hyphenate the last names. That would make my name First-First Last-Last......too many hyphens! Have you any idea how many companies computers can't deal with a hyphenated first name?

How about JEANS for doing your cleaning? Sometimes I wear my NIKE workout clothes...matching, of course...but my H even wrinkles his face about me even wearing those to the grocery store.. ..shows you how CLUELESS I used to be...

HMMM...maybe it is a southern thing?

LOL..I think that's why he doesn't want me to go shopping in them..he doesn't mind if I clean house in them..

What I was CLUELESS about is that it does MATTER to him..what I wear and when I wear it...believe it or not, that is NEW for me, to be able to LISTEN to what he has to say...

The OPENNESS and HONESTY is NEW...

Hey Goddesses,

Last weekend I knocked my WS socks off with how I looked. Really threw him for a loop. He told me the next day "you were stunningly beautiful". Anyway, we were talking on sunday, and he said it had been SO LONG since I looked that good and had that kind of effect on him, that it made him realize how important Personal Apperance was to him. That woke me up....which is why I need to learn as much as I can about PA and being a GODDESS.....

Mimi-- since ya bumped your threads I finally got to read some of them. Holy crap, woman, the things you put up with!!! I actually SNARLED at one point!

I purchased shoes this week that I don't even have an outfit for yet, but I LOVE them: My Goddess Shoes

For the first time in my life, I own more than two pairs of shoes and I love each and every one of them. Losing eighty pounds has a lot to do with that, though! I now understand I deserve it. Hubby thinks its hilarious that I'm becoming 'high maintanance.'
'Course I am... I have 17 years of treating myself badly to make up for!

"Hubby thinks its hilarious that I'm becoming 'high maintanance." You go girl. Nothing wrong with being high maintenance after 17 years!

Not2 - You get an A from me. Be sure to pick up some pretty hair thingies - they are cheap and make you look like a girl.
