I'm new at this. I'm 20 years old and my husband is 28. We got married this last June so about 8 mounths. He masterbates some times. Not when I'm home, but I am home every night so why does he need to anyway. It realy bothers me. Should it? I have told him how I feal. He said it should not bother me and that he is a grown man. And that is just something they do.

Dr. Harley recommends that spouses share their concerns with the other. Specifically, if something bothers you, you need to communicate this to your H. Calmly.

I've never really seen what the issue is about it - UNLESS it is keeping him from being happy and healthy with you in bed, unless he is choosing not to have SF with you. If that is the case, it's a problem. If not, it really is just something many men do. They have a biologically stronger drive and many men would prefer to engage in SF a lot more often than women. That's how humans were created so they would procreate - the man chases the woman because he's turned on and wants some.

That said, if it's becoming an obsession, you need to address it.
