I am new to this board... so bear with me.
I recently found out that about 3 years ago my husband was not faithful. He says it was a one time thing that happened at a party when he was quite drunk. He is currently a recovering alcoholic and has been sober for 13 months. I confronted him and he adamantly denied ever cheating... with an almost absurd tone of why I would even ask. I told him how I knew and he actually tried to get mad at me for how I found out!
He has now apologized and states that he didn't know what he was doing because he was drunk. We are also seeing a marriage counselor that doesn't seem to get us very far. He has many intimacy and affection issues so our problem is compounded by the fact that he says he is no longer attracted to me as I am still overwight from my last child and that it's hard to be intimate because of this.
I am devastated... any advice you can give to help get past the infidelity and deal with an unaffectionate husband?
