I don't know how up to date I kept the posts, so here's the latest: He was admitted to the hospital yesterday to get IV antibiotics and be observed/examined by a surgeon. Now he is scheduled to have surgery tomorrow to remove a large blood clot and alot of infected tissue from his leg. <BR>All this so he could save face in front of our kids and go down a really steep ramp on roller blades! Silly goose--midlife males are so funny!<P>Before going to the h. yesterday, he gave me a really nice bike for my b'day. Tonight I think I'll take the kids and a store-bought birthday cake to the hospital so we can visit and he can read the kids their bedtime story. (They are doing all the Chronicles of Narnia in order). <P>He is such a great dad...I hope he can learn to put the same effort into his relationship with me that he puts into the kids!<P>Thanks again for your kindness and thoughtfulness.<P>Lizzie<P>------------------<BR>When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you.
