As I sit here on call tonight with a deafly silent pager clipped to my scrubs, I find myslef purposely coming to this site to read the stories and reflect on my own life when I was once where many of you are. So damn sad to see the names change, but the stories stay the same.... LM

Well, glad your pager isn't sounding. You can get a little break.
You deserve a good life and a woman that will appreciate you. Even though you didn't "do" the MB program, I think you have the tools to have a wonderful marriage.
And children- I debated for a long time whether or not to have kids. Had my first at 36 and second at 39. But that was the best decision I ever made! They will turn your life upside down and you will never know how you made it this many years without them.

Congrats and all the best to you and your almost Mrs Lem. I remember that a long time ago you expressed the sentiment that while others thought you lucky, your definition of luck was having a family of your own and that you would gladly have given up everything in exchange.
