My husband and I both have a myspace and facebook page. We have each others passwords and have no issues with the other going into the accounts.

If it was my ex though, who was a serial cheater, there is no way I would be okay with it.

I think the best approach is to assess whether or not one of those sites is going to trigger a weak point with your spouse or yourself. If the internet has been an issue in the past...probably not a grand idea. If you or your spouse is spending more time communicating with people on a social site than with each other, it's time to turn off the computer and spend some time together.

Just like with other things i am probably "old fashioned" when it comes to this. I do not think it is a good idea for married people to have their profile on any website IMHO.

I talk to my kids and my friends via e-mail just fine.

I have a myspace page with absolutely NOTHING on it. LOL

I had to get it so I could be "friends" with all four of my adult children and download the latest pictures of grandbabies, new homes, etc.

Oh, and you CAN make your profile private so that no one else can view it except those that you invite.
