Thanks so much, guys.

Most of you know that I've struggled with ANGER and depression during this ordeal, but TODAY, I feel true HAPPINESS!!!

FogFree has transformed herself into the model FWW ... I am so PROUD of the strength of character she has shown. I LOVE her very much and am starting to look FORWARD to our future together.

I have a good relationship with my GREAT parents, and Mom is fixing my favorite dinner (turkey and dressing with all the trimmings, with a couple of my grandmother's southern homemade apple pies) for a family birthday dinner, that will include the presence of the following:

I have two great adult kids (D28 & S23) that are happy, healthy and successful in their own lives, plus two grandchildren (GD8 & GS5) that are really something SPECIAL, and a quality SIL.

At 48 now, I still have my two maternal grandparents, who are healthy and independent at 92 & 91 years old, including my retired baptist minister grandfather, who has been one of the greatest influences on my life. (I bet that shocks a few of you) He instilled in me my lifelong passion for the outdoors, and set a GREAT example of how to lead through actions and deeds, rather than simply "preaching" the words.

Plus, my widowed MIL, who is the definition of what a LADY should be.

On top of all that ... FogFree SURPRISED me this morning with news that she has taken ACTION and started the dialogue of pursuing one of the business opportunities that we have considered, so that hopefully within the next few months to a year, she can leave the corporate BS & travel behind, and do something that would be much more fulfilling for her, and provide a ton of "peace of mind" for me.

It's been a very tough 18 months or so, but I am starting to see a change in my attitude, and for the first time in many years, actually feel like CELEBRATING!!!

Brace yourself, FogFree!!! wink hurray

Thanks again ... to ALL of you!!!

You are talking about my all time favorite meal here. I knew we had things in common.

You are blessed MyRev. You have got good family and friends all around you. AND you have FF. wink Not bad! Not bad at all!

God Bless,

Careful MyRev, at your age, celebrating like this is just the sort of thing that results in permanent injury.
