I find it so inappropriate for a couple of swingers to be trying to communicate through a MARRIAGEBUILDERS site.

Surely you are trolls trying to stir the pot, and not seriously this deluded!

Looks like all found buddies for your next threesome, or foursome, or whatever other disgusting adultery you have planned. Highly inappropriate for a Christian website dedicated to BUILDING marriages.

Marriage building is for ALL MARRIAGES! Not christians??? If it was for CHRISTIANS! There would be several referrences to Christ in the literature that we have ALL read.

It is based on Christian principles. Which do not include exchanging private email with members of the opposite sex, or with fellow swingers.

Why do you think Dr. Harley doesn't even have the PM feature enabled? It is to prevent such communication. But like an entitled wayward, you found a way to circumvent this precaution. After all, the rules don't apply to you, right?

Thank you fabulous_woman.
I have replied to your email.

I apologise to the christian members on here for joining up and posting. I understand now that there is predjudice here. I originally thought that it was for all people who have been through an affair, but I was very wrong.

Take care.

Y'all are adults who can do what you want, but I would suggest that its probably not smart to aggravate your current marital problems by emailing opposite sex members from this board. That is a bad idea even in RECOVERED MARRIAGES.

This is a place to build marriages, not cause more harm to them. Are y'all here to save your marriages or to hook up? crazy

It is for anyone willing to learn and live by Christian principles for marriage. This would not include an unprepentant adulterer looking for people of like mind to hook up with. Can you really think it is acceptable for you and FWoman to be communicating privately?

James, no you weren't wrong. Marriage Builders is for anyone who wants to have a good marriage. And of course, folks here are prejudiced against adultery. As they should be.

If you are here to save your marriage, you are in the right place. If you are here to glean approval for sleazy behavior, you have come to the wrong place.

There will be no 'hooking up' going on, just two people who will not flame or call each other names. I have no desire or intention to have an affair or 'hook up' with anyone.

We are two people who have been through similar experiences and may just be able to help each other out, lend each other a supporting ear, and not have further stress added to our situation by people who are far from welcoming.

And THAT is exactly how many affairs begin!

NARRUED people should NOT confide in ANYONE of the opposite sex!

She will help you with WHAT? Her marriage is just as wrecked as yours. If you are an alcoholic and want to sober up, do you ask the falling down drunk for help? Or do you ask the alcoholic who has 25 years of sober living?

What you are doing is nothing more than setting yourself up for another affair. That is not marriage building; that is a demonstration of the same bad judgment that got you here in the first place.

Please, both of you, a fantasy is just that. Both of you have acted on those fantasies and are in a word of hurt. Every BS on this board is here because of someone's fantasy.

Not to be political, but the government stance on marriage is "One man, one woman". Third parties will cause nothing but pain.

The recovered WS's here will recall their "fantasy" with disgust, just as I hope both of you will one day.

MelodyLane - I came here because I have recently finished reading 'Surviving an affair' (my wife is currently reading it.

We have started following the principles and using the techniques detailed in the book.

I came here because I wanted some advice and perspective on the fantasies I've been having, to find out if they are a normal part of recovery, to find out if I'm going crazy, not to be ripped apart for my 'sleazy' lifestyle.

We're all humans. We all make mistakes. We are all trying to live better, more positive, peaceful and productive lives, and I thought that this would be one place I could come to find some comfort. How wrong I was.

And when you said that I'm setting myself up for another affair... I've never had an affair! I have no interest in having an affair. I am the betrayed spouse! I do not know fabulous woman, or where she lives. Having an affair is the last thing on my mind! No desire to go there whatsoever.

Thank you for your time.
