Just saw this over the weekend with my new honeybun.

It was a stunner. Completely unpredictable, set in 1968, with a cast of unappealing characters, except for the redheaded 13 year old boy (yes, he was a pothead, but I just loved him!)

A perfectly non-assertive college professor keeps getting hit with one bad thing after another. He just keeps taking it, no matter how outrageous the behavior is.

The only time he ever gets angry and speaks up is on the phone when Columbia Records duns him for records he never ordered. (Only the oldsters will relate to this - if you're young, you won't remember it.)

The story haunts me. I recommend it.

Yeah, I liked it, like I do most Coen bros stuff. I posted about it in the infidelity forum. I have a buddy in Ca who is jewish and just got divorced from his WW. His situation was much the same, including her asking for a "get".
I was set in Minnesota, where I live. The atty mentioned, Ron Meshbesher is quite famous here.Great, great lawyer.I am sure Dr Harely has heard of him.
