Well, it seems I'll have to rely on you in the US for further information. According to The Guardian (http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2009/dec/11/tiger-woods-gags-english-media):

Quote
Tiger Woods has won an injunction banning the British media from reporting new details about his personal life after instructing London-based lawyers to take legal action.

The move, described by lawyers as "unbelievable", prevents the media reporting information that was already widely available in the US, prompting further anger about the ability of foreigners to take advantage of strict English laws that would not be available abroad.

"This injunction would never have been granted in America," the media lawyer Mark Stephens said. "It's unbelievable that Tiger Woods's lawyers have been able to injunct the UK press from reporting information here that is freely available in the US."

What possible good does he think this will do? Does he think the news hasn't reached us Brits yet?

Oh poor Tiger doesn't want to be "exposed" any longer. This is just an exposure hissy-fit that all of us BS's have witnessed, only it's taking place in the press. You can see how it's working, too!

Honestly, I have always felt that waywardism is a form of mental illness. But these OW's - they take the cake. We don't discuss the psychologies of OP's as much, but if waywards are sick, OP's are terminal. Tiger's OW's are proof of that.

The Tiger Woods story/gossip caused my fwxw to break down and cry. She is seeing an extrapolation of how she acted and how dirty/sick/disgusting it was and how it effected the children. Long live the Tiger Woods saga. MAYBE, just MAYBE it will stop at least a few tending waywards from "pulling the trigger!" DUDE

I agree, a BS in this day and age couldn't PAY for the kind of conversational stimulus package this story provides! But I don't agree that it'll stop anyone inclined 2 stray from straying.

Cheetah Weeds! Better than David Letterman! Better than Prince Charles and Camel Bowels!

I'll go one step further: I don't believe any WS following this story even remotely identifies with it.

I'm there with ya, Fred. I don't think anyone in the fog can relate. My FWH, OTH, is uncomfortably aware of the drama. He's fog-free, though.

When I first read about the scandal & everyday the body count just got higher and higher I just wished I could go to Elin his BS and hug her and tell her that there were alot of people out there pulling for her. I'm sure she feels all the things we all felt and it's magnified because the press is all over this. She won't be able to leave the house without being hounded by the papparazzi and followed every where. She has my deepest sympathy and support. And if she lashed out at him and smacked him with a golf club I can't really blame her. And if she stays & works on her marriage she is going to have to be strong, brave and put on a smile every time she steps out of the house.

And not one single one of those skanky ho OW's seems the least bit remorseful. I hate them all. Instead of giving them quotes in the press we should be throwing rotten tomato's and fruit at them. They disgust me. And I have lost all respect for Tiger. He had the perfect life, beautiful wife, gorgeous children, amazing career and he threw it all away. Stupid, stupid man. I guess I can't even call him a man. A real man with values wouldn't have done this. I have wondered what his father if he were still alive would have had to say about this. And I wonder what his mother is thinking.

I wonder if he understands that he didn't just cheat on his wife, he cheated on his 2 babies too?
