Now what?
Kate is from Russia. She arrived at 1 this afternoon. Had a very busy afternoon, went and had a sherbert, stopped at home, she showered and changed quick, then to dance practice at school and groceries after that and picked up pizza after that to bring home!!!
My friend Sheri's daughter is on the dance team, so she went with to the airport and hung out with us this afternoon, was very helpful.
My 2 grandsons showed up for a little while, very long day for Kate, so she has went to bed.
Guess it was a long day for me 2!!!

AGG Thank you, her english is very good.
I am looking forward to visiting with her today as far as the region she comes from and customs and culture there.
She is still sleeping now, don't have to do anything til noon today!!!
She will start school on Tuesday where I work.
Promises to be an exciting year!!!!

Awesome. We have a large foreign exchnage program at my school. The guy that handles 'okaying' what stuents come or not has become a good friend of mine. Soooo...he shuffles us a lot of fantastic soccer players.
I was talking to a good friend and fellow coach. He asked how my team was going to look this year. I told him about like last year and we have kids from Mali, Germany, France, Holland, Mexico, and Spain. As a coach, that doesn't suck at all.

It was the first day of school today!!!! I am very happy with Kate's schedule, she got good teachers that will take the time to work with her!!!!!
She has lunch with Emily so that is good. I picked her up after dance practice tonight and she said, "dance good!! School ok."
My day was very busy and I didn't get to check on her, but she was ok. Got her a trac phone tonight so she is set now. She went shopping with my daughter last night and got jeans for $15 and thought that was too cheap!!!
Doug came for dinner tonight, he always plays 20 questions with her, so I learn a great deal when he is here from her.
Day 2 tomorrow!!!!

Just ushered out 7 girls and the dance team coach!!!! Having a few drama problems with the team so thought that it would be good to do some team building, so had them all here for pizza and games. Had a ball, kind of nice having a house full of noise again!!!
The girls all know me as Miss Dawn at school, so was kind of fun messing with them some.
Think we accomplished what we had set out to do!!!! Kate is doing awesome, she is going to homecoming next Friday with a group of friends.
Things are going good!!!
