That top one is a baby? Holy cow, it's big. Or maybe I'm just a horrible judge of size.

Yep, it's a baby Barn Owl. He/She might be 4 weeks old.
The blood is from the mice parts it was eating. I had to feed it with forceps so it got it's food all over it's face.
I LOVE my job.

I have an owl that comes and visits my place every year, it's kind of neat, you can hear him, he perches on the same tree.

#3 is Sammy, the Great Horned Owl. He's not called that for his ear tufts. He's waiting at the door of his bachelor pad in his smoking jacket beckoning for the ladies to step inside.

The Barn Owl is quiet, the Great Horned Owl is very chatty and the screechies only make the monster in the woods sound in the evening.
Our Harris Hawk is very chatty.
