Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! I had the BEST birthday I've had in years. It started out with a card from my hubby on my computer keyboard when I woke up (what does that say?, lol), then my kids, family and friends started an avalanche of happy birthday posts on FB to me. I went to work and a delivery guy walked in with a ginormous flower arrangement of roses, lillies and carnations. Around noon, my hubby showed up and took me to lunch. After work, my daughter and two of my sweet grandbabies picked me up at the train station bearing gifts and dropped me off at home. Then the real fun began.
I walked in the door to dim lights, a romantic table set for two, candles, roses, and wine. My hubby served me a steak dinner. After a leisurely dinner and quiet talk, he told me to go ahead and turn on American Idol, he had to take care of some things. I heard the bath running upstairs and I thought, okay, he's taking a shower. Weird timing but whatever. Lol.
Then he called me upstairs. I walked into the bathroom with the lights turned down low, candles everywhere, rose petals all over the place and a bubble bath waiting for me.
Let's just say, it got better and my love bank is overflowing.
To think back to how things were in 2003 and see where we are now, I can say we are 100% recovered.
