The grass wasn't greener on the other side and this man loved her enough to try again. I don't see this as a negative for him, I don't like how they titled this article to twist HER actions to being his fault. Mitch Daniel's Weird Marrage History

Where is the problem?
He kept his family together,
Focused on his daughters instead of trying to find another spouse,
Didn't beat down OM,
Took his W back likely for the good of his family ,
Seems to have forgiven her completely.
Sounds like his W needs to come clean, on second thought perhaps first lady should be an elected position, or he should divorce her for 4 or 8 years.

A comment on New York Magazine about the Daniels' marriage was a an interesting, if cynical anti-Dr. H spin: A simple story really...Hollywood starstruck midwest girl, marries midwest, but boring
youthful sweetheart - does her fantasy best at pretending he's a hottie (he's not),
creating 4-babies while he'd rather be wonking (politically) - meets an actual LA
hottie who more than satisfies her every need, except one - her 4-girls she left with
Mr. Boring back home. Being a good girl thru and thru, Mr. Boring / Mr. Dad wants /
needs her back. Mr. Hollywood admits he's bored - waalaa - she now spends her time backhome, happy to be "Mom" again, watching Dancing with The Stars with her
midwest family snuggled lovingly on the big couch, knowing, she was oh so close to happiness once upon a true Hollywood time. Fade out.

Prayer - I am going to remain deep in prayer for my WH to return to my four children and I. Only God can save my family now!!

Gamma I don't like the title of the article "Mitch Daniels�s Weird Marriage History Is the Only Thing Stopping Him From Running for President" So I guess all BH's shouldnt run for president because somehow its thier fault their spouses strayed.

I don't like the title either. It suggests that people who work to restore their marriages -- whether waywards who clean up their act & repent, or betrayeds who choose to forgive -- are "weird".
But see it for what it is -- a hatchet job obviously done in editorial sympathy with, if not at the outright instigation of, one or another of the other people who evidently would prefer not to have the political competition.
