My life has been a mess since I found out my husband has been seeing prostitutes. It turns out his job is ten feet away from 2 massage parlors and two prostitute filled hotels. I had no idea what he was up to just new he was acting weird we have been married for over 20 years and new something was up for years.

Well he fell in love with a older prostitute, gave her gifts, bought her gas etc... she fell in love and I think him too. He hired her to do shipping for him last year and his life at work has been hell she wants him to leave me cry's drinks does heavy drugs. She says she is pregnant with his child now when he wanted to end the affair when the people at his work found out.

She has been arrested, is violent and says I should carry protection and wants to punch my face in. My husband assures me that he wants to save the marriage but I have been scared to get to attached and believe him but trying for the sake of our children. Am I stupid for wanting to try?

Is your H willing to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes to make this right?

He says he wants to do what ever it takes to save our marriage. He is being more affectionate, and considerate but and a big but he is still working with her. She has been arrested at work, drinking throwing things at him, a mess.. She says she is lonely loves him misses him cant stand it when he actually cant talk to her because he is working.

She is not taking care of herself so drunk that they would not let her drive and she vomited on the dock. She says he will come back to her when he misses her I think she is right I don't see what he sees in her but this has been one long roller coaster ride.

Have you told WH that you require he never see OW again?
Have you exposed his adultery to the entire family? Kids too?

He says = 'will do whatever it takes'

But does = "still workign with her"

Still working a stones throw from prostitute establishments he frequents and endangered his marriage for.

Stil in contact with her and listening to every word of her drama.

Soooooooooo, what he 'says' is a LIE.

No I dont think so. But first you do need some hard evidence that h is doing what you need, putting you first, making you feel safe.

I am going to bump a thread for you called NEVER believe the word of a wayward.

Talk is cheap and you will see first hand you are not the first to be given 'what you want to hear' while he continues doing what HE wants.

Your right about her working at the same company they are a stones throw from each other. It makes me mad that she is behaving so badly and he still keeps her there, and defends her. He says he loves me all the stuff I want to hear but from what I know this has been going on for years. The trust is gone I feel dirty, had two Aids tests done thank God so far so good negative. But I will I always be living on the edge that he is have sex and unprotected sex at that. She says she is pregnant and the baby is due in July is this a ploy of the other women?

All of his work know's since she had the hissy fit 3 weeks ago. I have not told anyone I am ashamed that he would choose her over me. I am not a bad wife, I look good take care of the house and kids and don't complain, I just don't get it. She has been driving by the house but never comes to the door. Should I go to their work and confront her?

If the baby is due in July, she is a lying liar who lies.

Expose your husband's affair to your family, his family, and all of your friends.

Do not worry about saving his "reputation". If he was worried about his reputation, he would not have had an affair. Do not warn him that you are going to expose the affair, just do it.

Do not be mean or hateful when you expose. Simply say, "My husband is having an affair with a prostitute, and I am devastated. You have always been a support for our marriage, and I am asking that you support us now. Please encourage him to leave the other woman, leave his job immediately, and help us to recover our marriage. I appreciate your discouraging his affair."

Don't badmouth him. Just make sure you say you want the marriage, and you want him to stop his affair.

Don't confront her. She will only lie. Prostitutes lie, they have MANY men - so IF she is pregnant, anyone could be the father. She could be blaming your husband and 40 other men. She could have latched onto him as the father because he is gullible enough to believe her.

As far as her being in love with your husband - again, she is a lying liar who lies. Remember that. She was in the business to use your husband for MONEY.

She sold herself to your husband for money.

Your husband bought that, and her lies along with it.

He needs a boot to the head.

Read up on Plan A, and work this plan. Expose the affair, and expect your husband to be angry that you did the exposure. Your marriage can survive his being angry - it cannot survive his having a paid prostitute in the middle of the marriage.

While you are working on Plan A,

begin reading about Plan B. You may need it.

If she is drinking on the job, then can your husband have her fired? You said he hired her, so can he fire her as well?

Or could he have someone else fire her, for being disruptive at work? If she is raising a ruckus, not being able to drive because of her drinking, then she is not a good employee. Also, he could have someone look at her application - if she lied about her past (such as lying about her arrest record), they would have grounds for her immediate dismissal, and she couldn't do a thing about it.

Tell your husband that if he wants to save the marriage, either SHE goes, or HE goes. They MUST NOT work together - or the marriage ends.
