I see what you did there. grin

I've been told off by a good friend on these boards for not using smilies. naughty Apparently, they make all the difference and stop you from getting into trouble. Nooo I did take her advice and use them for a while, but then I forgot and now I'm back to hardly doing it at all... doh2

I hope I've learned my lesson now and this never happens again! hug

I just read recently how smileys make or break cell phone sales in Japan because their language lacks a lot of context when written. Emoji are necessary.

Maybe same here so we can understand y'all Brits! smile

On the topic of nail polish; I gave the LOLs a kick once on manicure day, and let them paint my nails. Each finger was a different color.

A pain to get off, but worth it for the giggles and smiles shared with the residents.

Still trying to figure out how to do french tip on the toes without paying the pedicurist ... so today they are white. I don't think I am tan enough yet so the white looks odd. I am going black this weekend ... I think next weeks work attire will be all black.

I am going to funeral it up for all my male colleagues.

I too have a problem. Well, actually, I have A LOT of problems, but I'm only admitting to the NP one here. grin

So.....I have about 35 NP's, and I have 2 sons, so no blaming on them(at least not that they would let me admit, hehehehehe j/K). Recently, I found this colour by Sally Hansen that is called Rockstar Pink. I don't normally like pink, but I LOVE this colour. Sooooooo, I bought 5 bottles. You never know, there could be a shortage. wink And when the end of the world happens, at least my toes and finger nails will be all sparkly.

I have also chosen to spice up different colours by mixing. And don't forget the trend of having one of your nails a different colour. Usually the ring finger, but I'm a rebel, so sometimes, I do the pointer finger instead. Daring, I know. HAHAHAHAHA.

Today, my toes are metallic silver, and my finger nails are a gold glitter with a long silver glitter overlay. Glittery nails make me smile. smile

I will have to find that color. If there are any left.

DD picked out Sally Hansen "strobe light" yesterday. We both did our nails in that. It is light pink glitter and very girly girl.

I purchased this one too. I have a real glitter problem right now, but they're just so pretty. smile

I have put the Rockstar pink over a silver, a red, but my FAVE was when I put it over Sally Hansen's Marine Scene. I received a lot of compliments about my nails when I did that. Well, since I am having a wellness day today, I think I will redo my nails.

Ohhhh, I really do have a problem. I didn't even submit this post before I put on my first coat of Marine Scene. blush

I know it's hard to come off, but it is soooooo worth it.

Gonna have to check out this new colour you have discovered. laugh

Was this supposed to be a support group to help us stop buying more nail polish or to find more awesome colours? I'm a little confused hehehehehehe

Do we need a polished finger Icon? Oh that could be used so creatively.
naughty This is the closest one?? That doesn't cut it unless it had glitter.

A straight up middle finger!! Boy whom would be in trouble using that one?

Oh no. I have realised my Plan B needs some serious improvement because I am not addicted to nail polish collections doh2

Maybe my serious addiction to pedis and a (newfound) addiction to foot scrubs alleviates this.

And you are all inspiring me to stop my habit of too short fingernails... if I grow them I can PAINT them.

I let the little old ladies paint my nails, I sing loudly and skip through the halls... I'm sure some outsiders have questioned if I was a nurse.... or a resident.
