I don't have any real evidence that they had more than a "platonic friendship" which is what she made it out to be. How is that any less offensive and hurtful?

I don't have any real evidence that they had more than a "platonic friendship" which is what she made it out to be. I'm undecided about whether I would have wanted to know. Didn't your husband tell you there was an affair? Most adults do want to have accurate information about their lives unless they are dysfunctional. Even so, you can't know unless you tell him. You do have a record of his wife telling him she had had 8 affairs, which is something he would obviously need to know.
