For those of you who went through it, did your kids go? My 12 year old doesn't want to go but I think she needs it. Did it help your kids? I think my 6 year old is too young to understand so I'm thinking of not letting him take it.

Here is a link to a MB thread about Divorce Care. Ironically my ex wayward wife attended their classes which makes me question their validity. I read one of the DC brochures at my church and they reference helping you "forgive" your spouse.

Yeah, I'm in the forgiveness stage of their emails. That doesn't really apply to me. I forgive too easily. lol

Divorce Care teaches that "forgiveness" is putting what happened behind you and letting it go. I also remember them stating that you can forgive, but do not forget.

So don't think that forgiving your WS is saying that what they did is ok. What you do want to do though is to move on.

I would recommend Divorce Care to anyone that has been cheated on and abandon. And you don't have to be religious to get something out of it.

HDW - We had someone in our class that was a WW... she did not fit in very well!!! smile
