My point was to make you see the plain truth - that this story is false.

The story your mother told you about being a chaperone and having accidental sex CAN'T be true. And she definitely cannot carry on sleeping with him! You KNOW this.

You must become CALM and logical - and make them STOP.

If you are struggling to think clearly and make decisions then see your doctor for short term anti depressants. Many betrayed people (including me) need this.

No one here underestimates your pain. It is truly horrific for you to undergo this double betrayal.

But LOGICALLY you cannot give into your pain yet. You cannot simply keep their secret. You cannot come here looking for 'comfort' while this betrayal is ongoing.

What magic pill of comfort can WE give you - while it is still going on? We can't bandage you while you are still being knifed.

Stop being their secret keeper and tell your poor lied-to father the truth. Do it gently. But do not allow the lies to him to continue by keeping evil secrets.

Then you and your father should kick this man out and deal with your mother.

There can be no 'comfort', no release from pain until this is done.

It will get worse and worse until is done.

There is nothing to salvage here but your self. Get yourself together prepare to support yourself and move out. Dump him asap, thank god that you did not marry him.

This is agod awful situation and I would careful tell my dad or At least elude to it, chances are he already knows.
