No we did not do a polygraph.. He says he would but have heard people can get past even that.. And still be guilty..I am getting the texts at this point.. Tell him you'll take that chance. Exactly. I would have him take the polygraph and have your questions answered. Did you read the polygraph thread?

I think the texts will give me the truth.... That is how they carried on their affair...times that he could have been with her .....they were texting...I have thought about times they could have been together..studied times of texting..however if for some reason my IT friend cannot retrieve the texts I will most definitely opt for polygraph!! I feel like he is really making strides...the one regret I have( not knowing how sexually charged their conversational game got) I would have exposed to work place...if she ever decides to contact my husband again...I will SMEAR her name all over her new place of employment!! I have my sources even there!! I also have her family's contact information too!! I know her social groups from fb which some of my friends are a part of!!

I believe this affair was brought to the light before a physical encounter took place...but believe me I know it was headed to that even though he denies he was going to go that far!! Three months of sexually charged trash talk...yes it was about to head to bedroom! I am not stupid!!

Three months of sexually charged trash talk...yes it was about to head to bedroom! I am not stupid!! 3 months of an EA? Why are you do sure it had not turned physical? Your WH's word? I would get the poly or you will always be wondering and it will hinder your recovery.

You need the poly to ensure you have all the details, any future doubts will hinder your recovery, particularly as he has trickle truth/withheld details in the past. If he has been completely honest he would agree to the poly. Many WS have said similar things about polys in an attempt to avoid taking one.
This EA could have turned PA, there are unfortunately opportunities other than outside of work hours.

Not threaten her with exposure, you do it. Do you have her parent's contact information? Does she have Facebook? Have you read this? Exposure 101

Here you can read about proper exposure - Exposure 101 If he had nothing to hide anymore, he would agree to take poly immediately and would do anything to ease your pain and answer your questions. This technology talk is just another "talk".
