I would like to listen to it privately while I'm out and about. My phone won't download it. It says the file is corrupted.
What do you use?

You don't have to download it, you can just hit play. If playing is a problem, try using a streamer. I use streamfurious. It's an app you can download to stream radio programs.
I have an HTC rhyme and never could get the program to play on the MB app for more than 5 minutes.

What do you use? Does your phone use iphone apps? If so you can download the MB Radio app and listen to reruns that way. Or you can pull down the radio webpage and just click on the links. I listen to it on my MBRadio app on my ipad.

No, it's a nokia. I have no apple products. I have a kindle, with the MB app. But, it's really too big to carry around.
Could I buy an mp3 player? Would it work then?

There are a number of links on the MB website that run JavaScript applets that are probably not supported on your device. I can give you the direct links to the mp3 stream.

For the prerecorded stream (active 24/7): http://streamer.marriagebuilders.com:8001/prerecorded

I have found that the MB App on my android device will work for awhile then cuts out. I have to shut down the app and restart it to continue.
Instead of doing that I use the default browser that came with my device to go to the MB website and play it right from there. It works more consistently that way. If you're hooked up to WIFI it works the best.
I'm not sure if that is everyone's experience using an android device but that has certainly been mine.

I have the same problem with using the app on my iPhone (cutting out after a few minutes of listening). Very inconsistent, sometimes no problem. However, since I was listening while driving, too much risk of distracting driving-- seemed like it always cut out just when Dr. Harley was saying, "what I think is....."
Therefore, I have stopped using the app, mostly try to listen with desktop, no problems.
Would love to hear if anyone has solved the problem. I wish they would make it a podcast; I have better luck with those than with streaming.

I have had some issues with the app. To listen to the current recording, I use Dolphin Browser instead of the stock android browser. Dolphin erases cookies automatically, even when the site is bookmarked. On the stock browser, it would only play once and then get hung up.
With Dolphin browser, it does cut out from time to time, but if I am patient and/or refresh it seems to work fine.
I had emailed the help desk from the app to say that I have been having trouble listening to the archive. This seems to work through Dolphin too. I just go through the website instead of the app.
What I can't do is download anything directly from the archive. I have to go to the computer and then transfer. That is a pain for me since I rarely am on my PC. I have a Motorola Photon & PC. Any ideas for how I can download directly to my cell phone?

The only Nokia phones I know of now are WP7 or WP8.
Second call from me; we need Windows Phone 8/Windows Tablet support!

If you are having issues with the apps, you can email mbradio@marriagebuilders.com, and Joyce will pass your concerns on to the developer.
