Hello All,

I hope you are well. I am new here because I am desperate to save my marriage. My husband and I got into a huge fight yesterday and emotions ran high. This fight had no name and I did not recognize it. Things were said on both of our parts and it was scary. So, I left to think, breathe and give him space. He has been sick for a long time now and I know that the medications have affected his mental state and altered his personality. Fearing that he was experiencing a mental break down from the new drug called Symbyax, I called a friend to let me stay over her place until I felt things were calm.

Today, he sent messages saying he was sorry and confused. Of course, I suspect it was the fault of this new drug. The side effects on this thing are troublesome. We are not sure what is wrong with him so the doctors keep feeding him new drugs with no explanations.

I want to go back home but I need time to sort out my feelings. I expressed that to him and he said that he understood. I feel like I am abandoning him when he may need me the most but I fear that we could end up in another intense argument. I need advice, prayers and help. I was thinking of staying at my friend's house for a week. What do you think?
