I have read on this site that unfaithful partners should be exposed to family, friends, clergy, etc.

My situation is that my ex wife (a public school teacher) planned out her Sexcapades well in advance by creating an online profile **EDIT*** and committed several encounters behind my back. In the emails she sent she actually insisted that no condoms be used. She lied about her comings and goings, covered it up and ultimately blamed me (says I was controlling) on her actions after she was found out.

After accidentally discovering that she had fallen in love with an Opitate Addict (phone records) who has four drug related felony convictions in the past 2 1/2 years, who unlawfully drives a suburban (DUI) not owned by him but with licence plates registered to him and a Jeep...... I began an investigation which uncovered at least five different men and probably at least seven where she would meet them at their house, apartment, hotel and even the sleeper cabin of a big rig for sex. There is ample financial records, emails, picture and video evidence to support these statements.

I offered her full forgiveness if she would stop and go to a Christian counselor with me but she refused. We are now divorced.

She is now seeking a new relationship on M atch . com Should I expose her to her family, friends and co-workers or is that un-Christian?

Thanks

If I were in your position, I would do the Christian thing and tell her family and any spouses of her affair partners. That would be in your x-wife's best interest because the more people who know, the more people to hold her accountable. Affairs thrive on secrecy, so keeping her dirty secrets for her only serves to enable her.

Being Christian, you should be familiar with this verse:

Ephesians 5:11

Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.

One year becomes two, two years becomes five, five becomes ten and before you know it, you've wasted your whole life on a problem you can't solve. That's one way to spend your life. -rwinger

I will not spend my life this way.

It's so necessary. How can she find light alone in the dark by herself? She needs the people who love her.

Plus the danger her addiction poses to others is very great. She also poses a physical health threat to these other wives, besides the worst emotional experience of their lives. Do help them.

I don't see what can be called Christian about enabling evil and failing to help people in dire need.

If she's truly so happy with her choices, she'd love people to know. However she wont be - she will be furious - and that is exactly why she needs help.

What would you do if you were not afraid?
