There does not seem to be a jail break solution for 7.1.1. Evasion does not have one yet.
Do not fall for sites claiming to have one. They are scams to get your iTunes log on and information.
Also, a warning for all of you who have version 7.0. If the evasion jailbreak doesn't take, there are sites out there that advise you to:
1) backup your phone (which hopefully you did before you tried the jailbreak)
2) restore the iphone as new (not restore backup, but restore phone and select as new).
3) install evasion
4) restore backup (gets the phone to original apps & condition).
I just spent many hours doing this with my daughter's iphone 7.0, and found that when you restore your phone as new it mandates an upgrade to 7.1.1.
What I didn't know when the upgrade went through is there is no jailbreak solution for 7.1.1. so now there is no possible way to put spyware on her iphone. I will have to get her an Android and waste the rest of the fees in her contract term and the cost of the device.
A word to the wise - Androids are better for kids ...AND, please do realize the need spyware on your teenagers phones.
I thought I was being really on top of things by having random phone checks (I knew their passwords), and just came to a heartbreaking discovery about an app called kik which is a chat app where all the REAL chats are going on. (There are probably other apps just like it.) All the kids have it around here. I would have NEVER believed my sweet "goody goody" daughter was involved in what she was involved in.
A daughter from another family in our circle of friends, a very strong family of faith, has been all but destroyed by unsupervised iphone use and predators - again, a sweet child that you would never suspect would be involved in this. In her case, she finally relented to send ONE picture of her in her bathing suit, and they used it to blackmail her for more pictures and eventually videos. Which went to facebook and has destroyed this girl's entire sense of dignity, which is only leading to train speeding towards a wreck. Heart wrenching and awful.
Parents, please put spyware on your kids' phones!!!
