Some of the handles here are unique and interesting, and not obvious how they came to be.
My own has a little history...I had a brother (since passed away) who used to tease me by elongating my given name to end with NINO. When I first posted, I thought I'd use that, but I felt it was a bit masculine, so I changed it to Nina. But there was already someone listed as Nina, so I became Nina too.
Anyone else???
My name on here is lifeismessy because it refers to the fact that my H who had the A is obsessed with cleanliness and being orderly. In fact that was the big appeal of OW according to him! But of course with 3 kids in our house ranging in age from teen down to tot- its never that way at HOME- life is MESSY!!!!!

I like what my name says. I always say "keep smiling and keep your head high". Plus where I work we always have to smile and greet the customer, no matter what you feel like.
SBT- which band is it, cause I honestly don't know.
Sherry

OK, they used to be heavy metal. Now they're kind of radio metal. Keep guessing. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]

It was the "radio metal" hint that helped right?
I suppose you're named after the Neil Diamond song?
[This message has been edited by sad_but_true (edited August 25, 2001).]

Well, I was on the computer, found this website, it asked for a username, I looked over at my H and just felt such an overwhelmed cloud of sadness come over me that I typed in: hurtbyhubby.
Needless to say, he wasn't too pleased with my choice of usernames at the time... LOL

There is this song that keeps playing over and over and over again in my head. I think Bonnie Tyler sang it. It goes.......
It's a heartache
nothing but a heartache
hits ya when its too late
gets ya when your down.
Or something like that. Anyhow-I always hear that tune in my head.
If I had to choose another I think it would have been "wrong again". I lvoe that song by Martina McBride-and it speaks volumes.
------------------
*heartache*
"Life's A Dance
You Learn As You Go.
Sometimes You Lead
Sometimes You Follow!
Don't worry 'Bout What You Don't Know
LIfe's A Dance
You Learn As You Go."

my faith in God is what helped me survive D-day, and every moment until now.
I have faith that my marriage will be restored.
I have faith in my husband that he's a good, honorable man, and will get back on track.
I have faith in MB.
I have faith that I will make it no matter what happens to my marriage.
All I have left in my marriage is faith and hope.
I needed to add a number to the end. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
At the end of all this, I will look back and know faith won.
[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
[This message has been edited by Faith1 (edited August 26, 2001).]
