Well....I don't have my computer right now so I'm here at the local library checking my email so I thought that I would hop on over here and let y'all know what is going on.
We got all moved into my WH parents house for now. We've set a deadline on how long we will stay there.....no longer than 3 months.
That should be long enough for us to get our bills payed off and be able to have the money for the first months rent and the deposit on a house to rent.
Things kind of took a dip in the last couple of days. I've been getting into a rut about thinking of him with the OW.
He says that he understands....but it still upsets him.
He said that it's been getting so easy for him to NOT think about her....but when I get emotional and have to talk about it then it brings everything back up....making it hard for him to forget it all.
He was going through a box last night and found a ticket for a race that she took him to on his birthday....his first one.
He wanted to keep it and it upset me a little bit because we discussed how we were going to have to get rid of everything from the past.
I told him how much it bothered me that he wanted to keep it and he said that when he saw it he didn't even think about her.....but I did. So he threw it away.
He hasn't written the "No Contact" letter yet.....he thinks it will give her a reason to come up and talk to him at work or something.....they haven't talked to each other in over 2 weeks now. He says he will....for me if I need him to....but he doesn't think it's a good idea.
All in all things are going really well I'm happy to say. My WH isn't showing any signs at all of withdrawl....I think that she pretty much destroyed what he felt for her before he even broke it off with her.
I don't know when I will get the chance to come back and check up on everything that is going on since this computer lab is usually pretty full.....but I will try to soon.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Heather

Thanks for sharing! It is so nice to hear from those coming out of the tunnel. Some of us don't see any light yet...

Hey, I had another thought - Maybe he could go ahead and write the No Contact letter so you could see that he is willing to put the ideas in writing and then keep the letter on hold and give it to her if she does contact him? He might be right about the letter itself making her want to contact him.

Miss Priss,
Hi. I've always cared about your story. Let me share a few things.
You two are going around and around. You have to meet the principles face on. Read HNHN, Love Busters, etc. and your H does too.
We spend far too much time here - and it perpetuates the turmoil. Big Tip #1: Quit thinking about her, and quit bringing OW up. I stopped bringing OW up - and she went away. My H is acting so much more loving, the house is finally getting back to normal after 18 months, and I know we are going to make our marriage work.
Big Tip #2: Don't take the cr@#.
Throw the stupid ticket away and forget it. Have an honesty talk, and tell him how much it hurts you. You need it gone.
Big Tip #3: He has to write the No Contact letter - no matter what. His statement that she might contact him - if she does hang up on her. No dealing - if he doesn't write it . . . I won't go on.
Listen, I hope you and the girls are okay. They have been through far too much emotion and hurt. I can only pray you and the girls will be all right.
The A and the OW might have destroyed your marriage - your H has to stand up.
Sorry to be so matter of fact. I've moved on. The only reason I stayed this long was to answer you - because I use to write, but I always read your posts to know what was going on.
Good luck, I don't think I've been missed. No tears in my milk - I'm being productive, happy.
take care of yourself and the girls, love, aftershock
