My H very rarely asks how everything is going in my life. In fact, he doesn't know about anything professionally or socially. And his actions make it quite clear that he doesn't even want to know.
Not even a "how was your day" anymore. Doesn't remember anything that I say.
I'm really a non-entity. I just always wondered whether this is standard WS behaviour.

Yep!!!! But usually not forever. If it is forever, then you need to move on. When will you know? That's the tricky question. Hang around here a while, that answer will come around.....
L.

Not sure if that is typical WS behavior but I am treated the exact same way, matter of fact WH treats me like I never existed, he is starting to treat his kids the same way.

Thanks O & SS, He's been my friend for so long that I miss our conversations. I'm also sad that he doesn't miss them and he appears very sure of this.
I continue to pray that he turns around one day. If not, the losses will still be huge on both sides. I will have lost an incredible spouse.

Dear T,
Step back and take another look, the person you are dealing with now is not the same one you had a good relationship with. So the loss is more his than yours.
The day he wakes up and finds out he has wasted precious days, weeks, months or even years chasing after the elusive butterfly of love (or so they say), he will cry. Break down and cry. Where will you and your family be at that point? Hard to say, but that day will come.
Whether he will be one of those men walking the streets saying I had a loving family and threw it all away for this lonely lifestyle or whatever, it will be a time of reckoning for him. I have told my H that. We see those types of men in our downtown area. H knows how close he came to being just one of those men (he lived in his truck for a couple of weeks in Dec 00).
You see, how much they will subject themselves to is beyond our control. How bad the OW treats them is also beyond our control.
So batter down for a rough winter, but keep you and your family safe and warm. You may find him trying to look into your window one day, wanting to come back in. I hope that is soon.
Hugs, L.
