at 6 am this morning my H woke me up to tell me that he is sorry for all the pain and hurt he caused me by having his EA. He said thay everyday he wishes he could go back and change the past and make things right between us.
we then talked about his feelings then and now and he couldnt give me a logical answer as to why he did it.
his EA lasted 2 months he never left me ended all contact with her and has sporadically worked on our M since then.
but him waking me up to apoligize was so unexpected and his sincerity blew me away.
i guess compared to some of you im a lucky one

That is wonderful news!!! Your H has obviously been sensing your troubles lately, and finally was able to talk about it.
I guess there's no need for the letter(s) idea now?
Karen

Lucky....no,in a way you've made your own luck by being willing to live through this nightmare and trying to learn something in the process. A lot of people just walk away.
Lucky...yes, in that your WS is one of those who have faced the reality of what they have done and are willing to admit to you the damage they've caused and their remose for it. It is a good basic for starting over...for both of you...with new perspectives of one another...new techniques for building a better marriage...and the firm foundation of knowing that you have survived a test by fire...and lived to tell about it. This is what we all hope for and what keeps us going. I'm so glad this happened for you! What a sense of peace this must give you.
I'd be willing to suffer whatever the shock would do to my body for this to happen at my house!
Conqueror
