I just finished SAA. I'm only sorry I waited so long to read it! It has given me an insight that even my counseling sessions haven't been able to do. The times I've felt the worst throught this ordeal is when I've had no idea what was going on or what to do next. This book showed me exactly what I'm in for and up against. I now realize that my WW is at least very close to feeling that the OM is her soulmate and that she hasn't been being honest with me about her feelings. I see how long our road to recovery is going to be now, but just knowing what's going on is a relief. I also see how important this process is for the BS and their ability to be able to let go if they need to. Most people in our situation I think would always feel guilty that they didn't try as hard as they could to save their M, especially with children involved. Even though it's the hardest thing in the world to do I think it's necessary to feel good about yourself again. EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS BOOK!

I agree, I have been told that I am a beautiful person so many times that I never realized I was. I have to concentrate on myself and my children if their father is not going to be around for them. I want to make my self a better person for them, and then I will make myself a better person for me, not for my H.

i remember as a WS how reading SAA took alot of the shine off the A. how ordinary the relationship became. it was huge for me...
I read it before D-day and kept it close so I could give it to my W. i dont know if that was a bad idea, she rejects all The MB priciples.
anyway. i think it really was a big step for getting my head and heart back on track.
