I see you all lurking
Have to tell you all this.
Went to the pistol/shotgun range today (qualification for a certification) and actually relieved some very old pent up MB OM stress on the ole paper target.
I was a millimeter from being the 'class' high shooter on the pistol range... and on the shotgun range.. I rocked.
If you have the time to ever go 'shooting at paper targets, (you can 'rent' their firearms) and relieve some hard earned stress.
SOOOOO What the heck are all of you doing up this late? [ May 03, 2003, 01:36 AM: Message edited by: Husband2you ]

H2Y,
I missed your post, I was busy talking via phone with one of my new freind. He is single and just started a new relationship however he has a lot of baggage ... he lets street workers (prostitute) to fillin his needs (including conversation). He stopped his "P dating" a few months ago but he still continues "E dating". I am glad I knock some senses to him, I has been talking to him daily. Finally, he followed my advice to tell his new girlfreind about his past and thing is still up in the air but he is relieved. He will ammends her, change his cell# and other ammends as she wants it. I think they are going to be fine ... my line is "If she can't take it now about your past, she won't be able to take it 6 months down the road and everybody will get hurt." On top of that he needs to let her to fillin his ENs, SF is his bottom 5 ... he needs conversation, companionship and (funny) honesty. He starts learning & lurking MB. Anyway, it was worth my subcriptions to "minutes w/o limit" otherwise I would be broke with those many minutes I spend on MBer.
I am glad you have some new hobby. Yes it is good that you redirect your energy to something positive. You have come a long way man. I might try that, there is a range in San Mateo next to the highway but again I don't need a gun I only need 5 minutes alone with OM I would send him 6 feet under. .
I found a job since my severance is about to run out ... but I refuse to work fulltime and as an employee. I am contracting as for now. I still have to settle for financial mess in Dv. I work enough to pay my essential bills .
I live alone but happy and the way I want it. I am glad and gratefull for this site and many of MBer freinds. I know I never be alone . My cell has way too many contact # .
Do you live in bayarea ? I am thinking of getting men to get together either in SF or peninsula ... interested on playing pool and relax ?

H2Y,
Ah, looks like I went to bed before I saw this post. I still have a problem with insomnia that started two years ago on d-day. Then the problems with our children did not help on bit. I hate it.. get so tired sometimes.
The shooting range huh? Sounds like fun. I used to be a pretty good shot.. sharp shooter in the Army.
So what have I been up to? Lots of ‘should do stuff’. In my free time (what there is of it) I’ve been mostly doing reading and research on historical and political topics. The topic of “man’s in humanity to man” has always haunted me. I’ve thought about writing a book on it for a long time but avoided the grim topic. Today it seems very relevant. Don’t know if I’ll ever write the book as it’s a very big endeavor, but I’m doing some of the work anyway.
Aren’t you sorry you asked? I’ll spare you diatribe on this though.
Other than that I garden and spend tons of time with SLT. Things continue to go great with us.
RedHat… good work guy.

Hi H2Y,
Well I must have missed your post last night.... imgaine that..... nodding off sooo early - LOL!!! I must be slippin'.
Shooting range 'eh????? Hm.... couple guys in our dept do that, in fact 2 of them are at some kind of tournament in LV this weekend.
Right now I think a 'gun' in my hand just might be dangerous!!! LOL!! Just kidding.
I like that aim and fire feeling and do not like to miss my target. I am one of those who want it done right the first time and get totally frustrated by those who 'claim' to know but can't perform. Boy that sounds harsh but in some aspects of life it is a requirement. I mean can you imagine going to a surgeon and NOT having him do it right the first time? How about a mechanic, co-workers (I spend time with those who help their clients establish and produce payroll and then act as their filing agent), plumber, utility billing servcie, lawyer, mailman, insurance claim filing, your taxes, etc.???? See what I mean?
So when I get frustrated it is not unnwarranted. Why? Because that's how I live. I try hard to do my best the first time for the right reason. Am I perfect? No, but my reasons for the most part are not driven by a self-centered or selfish need.
Ooops.....didn't mean to ramble so. See what happens when you put a gun in my hand or an idea in my head?!?!?? LOL!!!
Need to go do more laundry, clean the house, pay bills, go through the other auction stuff and figure out what to Ebay....... A relaxing day???? What is that? I'll bet 1/2 this board is already exhausted reading this.
U getting certification in this? Does this mean some good news will be coming up soon? Now that would make my day.
take care, L.

H2U,
Sorry I missed this last night. It's not often that somebody puts my moniker in their subject line. It's a lonely life.
I don't want to shoot anybody.

H2Y,
It looks like things are going well for you. I haven't had the chance to go to the pistol range since Jan 01. I have however completed the first part of the new Marine Corps Martial Arts Training and I have to tell you I used my partner in the same way as you used the target. It really felt good to hit and throw him and put the OM in his place. I am going to try and get back to the range in the next couple of weeks.

Ok, well drink a warm glass of milk and then get some shut eye. Can't read you a bedtime story because I am just way too tired to make one up!

well thank you. Thought of you yesterday. Saw a special on our news here in Houston. The highlighted the Houston Polynesian Cultral Center and had a gentleman, somoan do a traditional dance. Was great watching him express himself through dance.
Anyhow, thanks for the milk Wanna come to houston for our lunch meeting? hehe wish ya could. Have a great nite.
