On a somewhat lighter note, can anybody point me to a list of the abbreviations used in these forums? Here I am reading information that I hope will help me when I come upon a two letter abbreviation that leaves me wondering what it means. In some strange way I find this funny and got a good laugh out of it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> One of the few I have had in weeks. But, please, I must know what they mean.

Here's a few of the most commonly used abbreviations:
BS = Betrayed Spouse (gender neutral). Variations include BH (male BS) and BW(female BS).
WS = Wayward Spouse - The Unfaithful Spouse (gender neutral). Variations include WH (male WS) and WW(female WS).
OP = Other Person - The Lover (gender neutral). Variations include OM(male OP) and OW(female OP).
A = Affair (generic) - May describe an EA, PA or a combination of both.
EA = Emotional Affair - Affair not involving any kind of physical or sexual contact with the OP.
PA = Physical Affair - Affair involving sexual contact with the OP.
M = Marriage.
MC = Marriage Counselor(Counseling).
IC = Individual Counselor(Counseling).
OC = Other Child - A child born from an affair (biological parents are the WS and the OP).
D = Daughter.
S = Son.
IL = In Law(s). Variations include MIL(mother IL), FIL(father IL), BIL(brother IL), and SIL(sister IL).
There are probably more but these are the ones you are most likely to encounter the most.
