It was icky. I won't get results for another week. I should be fine, but you never know... Then I need to get tested in another 6 months to be sure.
The worst is just the way I feel inside, emotionally.

I have to go do it again too. Have been putting it off. Since new OW has such a great sex drive according to H, I wonder how many other pilots she has sleeped with.
It is not a pleasant experience...hope it went well for you.

HI HBH, yeah, getting tested does suck. Doesnt hurt physically but it can wear on you emotionally.
Try not to let this become part of your daily thought process for the next 6 mos to a yr.
I know it is hard, been there. Keep your chin up, keep a positive attitude-your body will thank you for it.

Thanks for asking!!
Actually, funny you should ask. My H was at the house when the doctor's office called (both times - results for 2 different tests). Both times they left a message on the answering machine, and both times my H heard them say that the results were negative.
The funny thing is that he was adamant about how he "checked things out" first and that I was fine and it was silly to get tested. But, you should have seen the look on his face when he heard the doctor.
Sheer terror as he realized who it was followed by an extreme sigh of relief when he heard the word negative...
Guess he didn't check things out as well as he thought, otherwise he wouldn't have had that type of reaction, huh?

Ya know, ok, its stupid but...
My H's OW was an OB nurse. She actually MADE him go get tested before they slept together. His and Hers blood and STD tests...aint that just sweet?
You would think that I would feel relieved that they were responsible.
It just hurt even worse knowing that they didnt just fall together in the heat of passion...they were pretty darn cold blooded about it.
Ick. Ick. Ick.
I still went and got tested. I was 3 months pregnant, what a depressing thing to do.
I hope your tests turn out ok!
------------------
Pain is a given, misery is optional.
