I am currently 4 months post partum and I been regretting my marriage. I have two kids under 2. My husband has always not been the type of guy who would go out of his way for me and has always been a mamas boy. Before I had my first child he would force me to visit his parents although they live then mins away, and most of our fights would be about me not going to his moms when she demands it. His mom has always had a say in everything and has even tried to change our venue for the wedding without asking me. Once my son was born my husband had an issue that I went to my mom’s house for help post partum. I had a very complicated pregnancy with HG and post partum complications after my c section. He would take the baby away from me for hours so his mom could see him when I was only 2 days post partum. I ended up having post partum eclampsia and was admitted in the hospital. I left the baby with my mom and she tried taking the baby behind my back. It seemed like she was trying to steal my baby in case I died. When I brought this up to my husband while I was in the hospital, he screamed at me and threw a fit. The nurses had to intervene. He then realized I wouldn’t be discharged from the hospital until my blood pressure stabilized so he behaved normally until I stepped into his car from the hospital and he started screaming at me about how his parents don’t have my baby. He started saying so many rude things about my parents and me as well. It got to the point where we involved both our parents that day and he left with his mother. I ended up having a pre eclampsia again that night and ended up being re admitted. I ended up forgiving him because of my child and now that I had another one I have flashbacks of my past. He is better for sure but he will still make comments about my family although my parents go above and beyond to help us. He will barely talk to my parents besides a hi. He doesn’t even ask the how they are. Honestly I really regret marrying him especially because he’s so rude and ungrateful. His mom does not do the same and he still will say she’s amazing and excuse all behaviors. I don’t think I love him anymore and there are days that I do lose my patience with him. If I had known how my life would be, I would’ve never married him. Any advice? Also divorce is not an option at this point I just can’t live without my kids
Also we get into the ugliest fights and I really do think I’m the worst version of myself since I been with this guy
TLDR: husband issues mamas boy, currently post partum
