I have been married for 8 months now and my marriage has been a roller coaster all along the way. We have tried to talk about our differences and tried to just let things slide, but nothing seems to work. Tonight my wife and I got into an argument and I ended up twisting her arm, I immediately regretted it and apologized sincerely. She has been in an abusive marriage before and says she will not go through it again. She told me she wants a divorce and I know she meant it, I am afraid she will not forgive or forget this especially with the way things have been between us.
A couple weeks again we had a disagreement and I hit her, I felt horrible then and apoligized then also. I have never hit her before, but my temper has went beyond my control lately, and I want to stop it.
We have never seemed to have stability, faith, trust or communication in our marriage and that worries me, I was hoping it could develop, and it was just fear. I have had bad relationships in the past and I know I am insecure, I am trying hard to work on it. I don't want my marriage destroyed over my insecurity and temper.
I really hope someone has some advice for me, and I would appreciate email responses if possible at tgdennis@msn.com.
Thank You
