Okay...I wrote this as a poetry exersize in my adv. composition class one month before my H pushed me away and we decided to get a divorce.

I see you in my dreams, beloved
Running with me through flowery fields
Rolling in fiery passion
That our perfect love always yields

Your blue eyes deeper there
Than the Pacific could ever hope to be
Your genuine love beaming evident
As you’re making love to me

I awake to see you lying
Next to me in our bed, fast asleep
I can’t stop myself from crying
For the love we couldn’t keep

Your icy blue eyes open
With that reoccurring vacant stare
Reassuring all of my fears
That our love’s no longer there

I miss you, so, beloved
And how desolate ‘here’ seems
So I’ll cry myself to sleep now
And I’ll see you in my dreams

Wow, that was sad, and powerful. I'm going through so much right now, and I could feel the pain expressed. Thank you for sharing!
