True love is a feeling deep down in your heart,
True love makes you feel empty whenever you're apart.
True love is the love that you see in their eyes
True love is the sadness when you say your good-byes.
True love is thinking of them every minute of every day,
True love can't be explained regardless of what you say.
True love is that unexplainable feeling whenever you're together,
True love is knowing you want to be with them, forever.
True love is the feeling you get from their touch,
True love is never being able to say, "I love you," too much.
True love is never tiring no matter how much sleep you do without,

Why couldn’t you let him go??
Why did you decide to see him again…
Did you consider him your friend??
You said you needed one last time…
You broke our trust..committed this crime.
Is there something there I cannot do…
He says he will always love you.
You needed him to be there ‘just in case’…
My love you decided was a waste.
You say you may not ever know why…
I need to know..or my love will die.
You say you and he are done…
I still doubt that I’m the only one.
My heart still aches and bleeds so bad…
My soul you have made very sad.
I’m trying so hard to hide this pain…

Need to be the same
If they are not…
Then it becomes a game
When words are lies
And actions are deceit
That person is consistent
A liar and a cheat
Your words to me were “I love you”
Your words to others were “I don’t know”
For over a year now
You’ve been putting on a show
Each time I caught you
In the middle of deceit
You said I can fight him off
He will soon admit defeat
Now you say your words of the past
Are not how you feel now
You say you want US to go on
My heart is asking HOW?
Our actions speak louder than words
That’s what we’ve been told
Your actions keep telling me
It’s him you want to hold
Each time he calls you with a ‘surprise’
He takes you away from me
Those moments you don’t even realize
It’s from me that you flee
Your counselor says to watch me close
Ignore what I may say
You fear someone will come along
And again take me away
Your words again say “I love you”
Your actions lead you astray
I cannot believe you any more
So now I will go away
