This poem gets great reviews from me. I love it and your words can only be from my true feelings ones that I could not express for myself. Thanks you

Hi Whitley,

I didn't write the poem (couldn't if my life depended on it LOL).

But it expresses how I feel when in my more bitter moods (which I'm happy to report are becoming rarer by the day)

Really I still do love my husband but I will not allow my emotions to put me under his subjugation again. I forgive him (most of the time) and even pity him at times. But I will not let him hurt me again and can't picture myself ever trusting him again.

So he needs to understand that I've moved on - not out of anger or vindictiveness. Any pain he feels when(if) he realizes what he's lost is a naturally occurring consequence of his choices/words/actions - not revenge on my part.
