I hate the way you made me feel
I hate the way you broke our seal
I hate the way you looked at me
I hate the way you've lied to me
I hate the way you didn't listen
I hate the way your love's gone missing
I hate the way you broke my heart
I hate the way you thought you're smart
I hate the way you've treated me
I hate the way you then blamed me.

obi,

this was the one that inspired me... i have one written in a similar genre... it's called "not doin' it this time"... the sad-frustrated-anger-bewildered-type of piece... very logical, too...

question: have you ever showed/read these to your WS?... i am curious because my works are performed in public and have been on some local radio stations and my WS has the CD... she actually talked to me about it... strange what she said about it...

be well...

Samm,

no my H hasn't read them yet, but I'll give them to him this weekend. I will keep you informed about his response!

Take care

obi,

just a word of advice from someone who has been down this road... careful what you give him... you actually have the advantage being able to with hold them (mine are public)... and you might consider withholding until you are sure that they would be helpful... like... i don't know about giving him this one... especially if you are working (trying) on things... i have two live performance CDs with these songs on them that got back to my WS and it may have been detrimental in some ways... not sure... but she seemed very interested in hearing the rest of the songs after that... when i let her into my world, my head, my thought process... i felt like i gave something up... like a piece of my wall, my protection... my advice is to tread lightly, but don't stop writting... you have a good feel and your work is good...

but, if you do let him in, definitly keep me posted...

be well

samm
