I am finally turning to prayer after trying everything else, and would appreciate your prayers for the healing of past resentments between my new husband and I. We have both hurt each other unconsiously in the past, him by withdrawing and me by pursuing until I've become nagging and angry. Because it is so difficult to share my feelings with him (he is afraid of conflict), it has been difficult to move to forgiveness so we can give this another chance. Please pray for a miracle--that both of us would learn to be loving and giving with each other instead of running away, so that we may stop this cycle of anger and withdrawl. Thank you!

Father, in the Name of Jesus, we ask you to soften the hearts of lauralei and her husband toward one another.
Help them to decide daily to forgive the old hurts everytime they come to mind, Father we ask You to help them both release the past.
Help them to live in peace with one another as You meant them to. Remind them Father , that love does not seek it's own way, but rather place their spouse before them.
Help her husband to love lauralei as Christ loved the church, so much that He gave up His very life.
Help lauralei to respect her husband, to look up to him, to believe in him, to place hiom before all other execpt You.
Help them both to see that this will be a process that they will have to work at daily. Lord sustain them while they work to show one another lover the way You designed it to be in Jesus name, we thank You for hearing us.
Amen
------------------
Just call me - Deb
------------------------
The only day I can do anything about is today, yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not yet mine.
Hepatitis C, educate yourself ! http://hepatitis-central.com/
[This message has been edited by Bozos_ Deb (edited May 18, 2000).]
