Heavenly Father I come to You in the name of Your Son Jesus for this man and his w. I pray that You would break through the hardness of heart and through the depression so that Your will be done, namely, the restoration of this M. Guide this couple to the counselor You would put in their lives. You know the steps of action that need to be taken to restore them in You. I pray also this man would seek You, seek You to know You, to be transformed by You. In ways his wife would see what You are doing, lifelong changes in the core of this man to be more like You. For this w I pray that You expose the lie of the enemy here and now, open the eyes of her heart and remove the blinders of sin and rebellion, guilt and shame.
Tomsal,
One thing came to mind as I was praying, Jesus loves You and He loves Your wife and He wants You to be together. Sin has broken that, it is not your job to show your w how you have changed or how she needs to change, God will do that, if you let Him. I also thought that I would recomend Steve as a counselor, he has helped me. I don't always recomend him to everyone, but I feel his counsel is worth the money.
Blessings to you my friend,
knight

Tomsal, Knight will be a good friend to you. He knows your pain very well.
Of course, Father God will be more than a Friend to you. Thank you for posting so believers viewing this can pray for your needs and for the faith it reflects. Don't give up that hope.
Incredible patience is required of you. Know that despite the betrayal, you remain worthy of love. The Father loves you and He will bring you comfort. Walk close to Him, let Him be your strength because surely you do not feel much at this time--He is faithful to His word and will carry you through.
Lord Jesus, I agree in prayer with Knight and Tomsal for the healing of his M. Touch his W and the areas in his own life in which you desire to bring deeper healing. Lord, may whatever faith he has in You grow, be watered and flourish. Protect his W and reveal to her the deception she has entered. Lord, I pray she will accept Your truth.
Tomsal, just felt as I was praying that I should share what God did to me in my time of unfaithfulness. Total strangers would come up to me and talk about the family values or I would be driving to see OM and the radio program would be on fleeing from temptation. Don't be surprised what God will do to speak to your W but please wait on Him and let Him work on you, too.
Blessings.
