Im still standing and growing closer to the Lord thru it all. My W finaly called after not hearing from her in 3 months and I assumed shes at her mothers again. If i wasnt helping her pay her rent in the treatment home, she could not make it. During the last year we were seeing each other I was just enabling her to not be my W. She was not willing to "go againts her mommy". Im sure now she has to be handed over to whom she serves. Her mother is a very cold and cruel woman. I didnt give her a chance to say much. Im still hurt and all I could say was how was she. She said she was alive said she saw our son last week and then she started to break down and cry. Praise God... She is being humbled. I then told her that I loved her , goodbye and hung up after I heard her cry that she loves me.
I feel a little guilty for cutting her off, but I know Im doing the right thing. Im at a place where I have to totally depend on the Lord to see this thru and not on any of my own efforts what so ever. Im just going to rest in the Lord and wait patiently on Him. This is in His hands.
I do have a certain peace Ive never known before. Im realizing in spite of my efforts and the circumstances, God is in control.
I ask for prayer that my W would be delivered from evil and that this time she would turn her entire heart to the Lord.

Hello, Mark.
I was just about ready to send out the search parties for you!
I'm glad you are still being strong. The Lord requires no more from you than your willingness to give your all to Him. He will handle all the rest.
I, too, will pray for your W, that she will now hear the call of God on heart. Remember, though, that YOU are the only one you need to be concerned about. God will work on HER in His time, but that is not for you to worry about. He wants YOU, totally changed into His Man, and then He'll deal with her.
I am still trying to learn this lesson myself.
God Bless,

Thank You Gentle for your prayers the Lord will be faithful in our situations.
Amen Lupo, I still need to hear where my focus should be. On Jesus first, then my own heart and all the stuff I still need to allow God to deal with. I still have trouble with that. You are in my prayers. The Lord will honor our stands and gain glory thru them. waiting patiently means, Long suffering. As for me, God has been very patient with me for many years. May we learn to extend that Patience in Christ to our mates.

Faith, hope and love, Its not my strong faith that got me thru this. It was Gods strenth. I was suicidal for over a year and did give up at one point(on life). God rebuked me hard. I know Gods love is greater than we can imagine, but He is going to restore our marriages for His name sake more than for our blessings. God also wants us to trust in His great mercy. Like David in the psalms, I have accused God of forgetting to have any mercy anymore. Im learning to Trust also in His mercy. He will have mercy on those who have shown mercy. Your in my prayers.
Mark
