thank You for Jesus
thank You that He died for my BS and me
thank You that He was resurrected and we have a new life
thank You that He lives in our hearts
Have mercy on me that I hardly ever listen to Him
help me to not only listen but hear and act
thank You for the trust my BS and I can put in You and Your guidance
Help us in seeking literature of any media kind to teach us about Your providence and Your timing
for our situation(seperation getting over hurt and resentment for BS self centredness and impatience of WH)
a timing which is so different to our "instant food" timing
a timing I struggle with because of my guilt
thank You Lord that we can ask
in Jesus name

I had mixed emotions when this scripture was revealed to me.
Habakkuk 2:3 But these things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.
I hated the fact that recovery would take time. But I loved the fact that God it was His plan, He was soveriegn and His plan will not be delayed.

bassie, check out family.org it is the website for Dr. Dobson's Focus on the family. There is a resource center that has anything and everything from A-Z and speaks to all audiences. The have books, cassettes, and CD's. I think you will be able to find a lot of things applicable to your situation and you will find them a great comfort.
Dr. Charles Stanley also has a website intouch.org and he also has tons of resources, especially regarding prayer.
