I would Love to sit with my wife and say a prayer together asking God to forgive her for her Affair. I'm not very good at this stuff but just feel the need to do this,

Can someone please reccomend a good prayer for us to say together?

Michael,

Here's a starter for you -

There is the Lord's Prayer, which is how Jesus taught us how to pray.
"Our Father, who are in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen."

Talk from your hearts. Let Him know what has been going on(He knows already but He would like to hear it) and just tell Him, Father, we are your humble servants. We know that we haven't been doing things Your way, but would like to correct that. Please teach us, Father how to love one another as You have loved us & forgive us for the many sins we have committed against you (then start naming them). We invite You into our hearts to live w/us, live inside of us so we can do Your will always.

Hope this helps you get started.

Love in Christ,
Y

Your words made me cry because of the hurt I feel and the loneliness I feel.. I need God in my heart and I can actually feel that void without him
